Discover Avignon, its narrow streets, the Palais des Papes and its covered market. Departure for the route of the great wines of the south (Cairanne, Rasteau, Vacqeyras…) for wine tastings.
We will walk through the alleys of the old town of Avignon and we will visit the Palais des Papes, passing by the famous Pont d'Avignon. After visiting the old town, we will head to the Halles (covered market) and we will have our lunch break. After a good meal, we will continue our tour to Cairanne, a small village in the Côtes du Rhone to experience the sensory journey of Cairanne wines followed by a tasting in the cooperative cellar. We will continue our way to Rasteau, a medieval village with a panoramic view of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail, to discover its astonishing but no less famous sweet wine.
