Description

We will cross the southern districts of Marseille and talk about its most remarkable symbols. Starting from the Pastré park, natural spaces spread over several hectares where there are Aleppo pines, holm oaks, laurels, thyme, a variety of juniper as well as the Marseille canal. We will go back up through the park to the Col de Chèvres at the top of the crossing, nothing very difficult even if you will have to use your hands. At the top, it is time to have a picnic and enjoy the panorama. This hike offers one of the best views of the Phocaean city. Then, we will begin the descent through faults. At the start, some exposed passages will require all your vigilance. After a few minutes we will find caves and the vegetation will begin to change. We will head towards Callelongue which can be appreciated from above. Once there, we will walk towards Les Goudes to relax.
